I’m a graduate of the University of Denver Publishing Institute and the University of Colorado at Boulder with a journalism degree, a minor in economics and an international media certificate.

My passion for journalism started when I joined yearbook my junior year of high school, and being yearbook editor cemented the idea and inspired me to pursue a career in magazine editing. Working as an editor for CU’s online student newspaper reignited my passion for editing overall and introduced me to my first love: copy editing. My work at various publications has encouraged me to pursue a career in editing and publishing.

My goal is to work in editing. I’m passionate about copy editing and AP style, and I love writing feature stories and profiles, telling the story behind an organization or person. While Chicago style isn’t my first love, I am also interested in working in the publishing industry. I’m also interested in food, travel and movie writing, especially documenting food from different cultures.
